What is a nutritionist?
A nutritionist is a medical practitioner who provides science-based recommendations for improving nutrition, adapting them to each person's individual needs and lifestyle. His task is to evaluate existing eating habits and offer effective solutions for promoting health, increasing energy levels and achieving specific goals.
A nutritionist creates personalized nutrition plans that help in weight correction, improving the digestive system, managing chronic diseases, as well as implementing a healthy and balanced diet in everyday life.

What to expect from a consultation with a nutritionist?
The first visit begins with a detailed conversation, during which the nutritionist collects information about your current eating habits, lifestyle, health status and goals. During this consultation, an anamnesis is collected and, if necessary, a body composition analysis is carried out, for example, using scales and a height meter and tape measure to determine the body mass index and waist circumference, assessing the amount of visceral fat.
In the second visit, based on the information obtained, personalized nutrition recommendations are provided, and an individual nutrition plan is offered or adapted. This is the moment when active work on achieving your goal begins and the first steps on the way to well-being and health are clearly defined. Additional examinations, such as laboratory analyzes or a visit to another specialist, may be recommended.
If the patient wants to draw up a diet plan, then he should visit a specialist regularly, usually once a week, to monitor progress, monitor weight and, if necessary, make adjustments to the diet plan, because our common task is to achieve the desired result.

Who should visit a nutritionist?
• In case of health problems, such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gout;
• Cardiovascular diseases – high blood pressure, high cholesterol;
• Digestive disorders – reflux disease, gastritis, stomach ulcers;
• When a diet is required due to specific medical indications, for example in the postoperative period or in the treatment of food allergies, intolerances;
• Decrease or increase in body weight, nutrient deficiencies.
