ULTRASONOGRAPHY OF PREGNANCY
In the first ultrasound examination, the gestational age can be determined or specified, the fetal size can be assessed for the expected gestational age, gross fetal development pathology, the presence of uterine and ovarian pathologies can be ruled out, the ultrasound markers of congenital genetic pathologies of the fetus can be evaluated and the expected date of delivery can be determined.
During the second ultrasound, the fetus is also measured, the state of the placenta and the amount of water are assessed. The doctor compares the results of the second test with the first and draws conclusions about the speed of the child's development. The doctor should also make sure that there are no signs of chromosomal diseases in the fetus. The development of internal organs and organ systems of the fetus is evaluated. It is often possible to determine the gender of the baby already at the second examination.
The third ultrasonography evaluates the condition of the fetus before delivery. It is important for the doctor to understand the position of the fetus: head or pelvis. It is also necessary to find out whether the umbilical cord is not wrapped around the fetus, or whether there are any developmental defects that appear in the later stages of pregnancy. The approximate weight of the fetus and its correspondence to the gestational age are determined. Recommendations are given for labor management tactics. In the third planned ultrasound, you can already see the baby's face on the monitor.

- without family doctor referral as paid services (the full service fee is paid).
