2. What data we process
- name, surname and contact information;
- write down information, selected specialist, service and desired date;
- the content of your voluntarily submitted report or feedback;
- technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and server security logs;
- health information only if you specify it yourself and it is necessary to process the request or provide health care.
3. Purposes and basis of processing
The data is used to answer questions, organize the appointment, communicate with the patient, provide the healthcare service, fulfill legal obligations and protect the website against misuse.
The basis for processing, depending on the situation, is your consent, actions taken before receiving the service, provision of health care, requirements of regulatory acts or the legitimate interests of the clinic to ensure secure communication and system operation.
4. Data recipients and external services
Only those clinic employees and service providers who need it for the performance of their work duties have access to the data. For technical operation, data may be processed by hosting, e-mail and IT maintenance service providers, subject to confidentiality and security requirements.

Data is not sold or used for unsolicited advertising.
5. Data storage
Communication and recording data are stored only for as long as necessary for processing the request, providing the service, solving possible claims and fulfilling the obligations stipulated in the regulatory acts. Medical documentation is stored within the time limits specified in the regulatory acts regulating health care.
6. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction, deletion or restriction of processing, object to processing and withdraw consent if the processing is based on consent. The exercise of rights may be limited if data storage is required by law.
The request can be sent to info@klinikaluc.lv. If you believe that data is being processed inappropriately, you have the right to contact the Data State Inspectorate.
7. Cookies, local storage and Google Analytics
The website uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage for security, CAPTCHA operation and saving user choices. The choice remains stored until the user changes it or clears browser data.
With the user's consent, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) is activated to provide aggregated visit statistics and improve the website. Google Analytics is not activated before consent. The _ga cookie distinguishes visitors and _ga_* stores session state; each may be retained for up to 2 years.
Information about visited pages, session duration, approximate location, device, browser and interaction with the website may be processed. Health information entered in application forms is not sent to Google Analytics. Google may process data outside the EEA using safeguards provided by the GDPR.
