❗️Regular control of the pacemaker is necessary for the patient's safety and maintaining the quality of life. After pacemaker implantation, it is recommended to check once a year.
📍The pacemaker check is carried out as part of a program paid for by the state; the patient only has to pay the patient's co-payment.
📍After the examination, the cardiologist prepares a conclusion.
📍There is no need to go to Riga - the entire procedure is performed on an outpatient basis and lasts about 30 minutes.
📍Specialized devices are available for testing and programming the specific pacemaker.
📍During the examination, the procedures specified by the manufacturer are performed: assessment of battery life, if necessary adjusting device settings, as well as checking other technical parameters.

Cost of outpatient services
Consultations and diagnostics are carried out by appointment:
- with a referral from a family doctor (state program, only the patient pays a contribution);
- without a referral from a family doctor as paid services (the full service fee is paid).
